Martha Suronen, owner of Milk Time Lactation, is a passionate and caring International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), as well as the current chairwoman of the Clark County Breastfeeding Coalition. She provides customized care to her clients prenatally as an Internationally Certified Birth Educator; as well as after baby has arrived, as an Infant Massage Instructor as well as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor once.

Her practice, located in Vancouver, WA, provides personalized education and support to both nursing and expectant families. In business since 2007, she provides services in-home or at her office, and also facilitates a weekly support group for families from birth until weaning. For those families needing immediate assistance, or for those who live out of the area, Martha also provides phone or Skype sessions with an aim to be available within 24 hours of contact for mothers and babies with breastfeeding challenges that cannot wait.

Martha’s goal is offering assistance and support to families desiring to breastmilk feed. Whether it’s dealing with low milk supply, prematurity, painful nursing, or poor baby weight gain Martha can provide resources to help.  By listening to her patients’ needs, she can create plans that span from strategies for returning to work, to extended or even tandem-nursing. Each plan is tailored to help her clients work toward their specific personal goals.

When not working Martha loves to cook, take long walks, and spend time with her family and animals.
